On Friday 18th September, St.Louis de Montfort Primary School in Aspendale supported the Have a Ball Foundation with another great event on the last day of term 3. All the kids dressed up in their favourite footy gear to celebrate the AFL finals series as they celebrate a fun last day. The kids enjoyed throwing their donated sports balls in through the handball board and receiving a free chocolate. They donated an amazing 495 balls together with raising $265 on gold coin donations which was an unbelievable effort. All balls will be sent up to the Northern Territory and also some overseas locations in the coming weeks. We would like to thank Mick O’Brien for organizing the event again this year as well as all the teachers, kids and their parents for their support.
Look out for photos in the Leader Newspaper in the coming weeks.
