During the week commencing 2 September 2013, Skilled Group Limited held a fundraising week for the “Have a Ball Foundation” whereby all Staff were be asked to bring in a new ball, a good condition second hand ball or a gold coin donation. A total of 40 balls & $202.50 was raised which was a great effort by the team. All sports balls donated will be distributed to a number of remote outback schools in the Northern Territory to assist indigenous kids in need and will encourage these kids to attend school and participate in a healthy lifestyle as well as receive a good education. 100% of all funds raised will go towards a number of projects to assist schools and communities in the health and well-being of indigenous kids. The kids in these schools will be absolutely delighted with their new equipment when they are trucked up to their schools.
