It looked like it was going to be a washout with dark clouds glooming and a rainy morning but the weather gods gave us a break to hold the event held at St. Paul’s Primary School in Bentleigh on Thursday 12 Sept 2013. And what a great morning it was with such a wonderful group of kids who all got involved to bring a gold coin donation or a sports ball to donate to other kids in need in remote areas of Australia. What an amazing effort for a school of 350 kids as they generously donated 414 sports balls and $189.25 to the Have a Ball Foundation.
This will enable the foundation to help around 7 remote schools who do not have much in the way of sporting equipment at their schools and also use 100% of the money donated to supply other materials which support the health & well being of their kids. Thank you to all the kids, teachers and parents from St. Pauls primary School for your generous support of the Have a Ball Foundation and special thanks to Danny Maher for organising the event.
