The Have a Ball Foundation recently assisted a community located 240km west of Uluru near the WA & NT border called Docker River where they have a youth population of around 120 kids. The original aboriginal name for the community is Kaltukatjara and the European name of Docker River was given to the community by Ernest Giles in 1872 during one of his expeditions.

A bag a sports balls was sent up to Brett Toll who is the Youth Development Officer at the local NPY Youth Hall where kids meet to play all sorts of sporting activities and learn many valuable life skills. Docker River is one of the most isolated communities in the NT and it was great to be able to assist the kids out in such a remote area with some new equipment.
