On Saturday 31st May 2014, the Have a Ball Foundation took part in the Long Walk to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Michael Long’s walk to Canberra to meet with the Prime Minister John Howard to get the lives of indigenous people back on the National agenda. A concert was held during the afternoon at the Sydney Myer music bowl with support from many indigenous celebrities including Micahel Long, Ernie Dingo, Nathan Lovett-Murray, Casey Donovan and members from the Marngrook Footy Show. It was a fantastic display of support from the public with thousands of people joining Micahel Long in walking to the MCG to raise awareness and bridge the gap between indigenous and non indigenous people.
