On Friday 7th August, the girls from Mount St Josephs Girls College celebrated an indigenous day by bringing sports balls in to donate to the Have a Ball Foundation for kids in remote communities around Australia. The day was part of a huge celebration week including an arts festival and bringing blankets for the homeless which was a great display of helping those in need in all communities.
The girls had plenty of fun throwing their sports balls through the handball board and getting a chocolate for their generous donation.
Special thanks to Natalie O’Brien for organizing the event and many thanks to all the students, staff and parents from the school for their generous donations and supporting the Have a Ball Foundation.
