During the month on September 2013, NAB East Melbourne got into the spirit of Melbourne’s biggest time of year, the AFL footy finals series. With their casual dress day for a gold coin donation they raised $121.00 for the “Have a Ball Foundation” and also donated 10 sporting balls.
Fun activities such as ‘find the footy’ competition and the famous ‘handball’ competition were held with everyone enjoying the finals celebration.
All sports balls donated will be distributed to a number of remote outback schools in the outback areas around Darwin this year and all funds will assist with a number of projects which support the health & well being of indigenous children in remote schools and communities.
Special thanks to Richard Keenan for organising the event again and for all staff at NAB for supporting the foundation.
Please refer the ‘Donation Locations’ page to view all areas around Australia which have been donated to from all prior events.
