On Wed 15th October 2014, kids from the Nowa Nowa Primary school were delighted when Roger from the Have a Ball Foundation surprised them when he called in with 2 large bags of sports balls for them to enjoy.
The small school of 28 kids is over a hundred years old and celebrated their school centenary in 2012 with many generations of local indigenous and non indigenous attending the school over that time.
The timing couldn’t of been better as the school had lost all of their sporting equipment recently with a break in to the sports storage room.
We hope all the kids enjoy their new sports balls and get plenty of fun and healthy activity out of them.
