On Tuesday 18th Septenber 2012, OLA in Cheltenham launched the first school ‘bring a ball’ charity event day for the Have a Ball Foundation. The day was a huge success with a surprise visit from the Marshall Man who gave the kids a chocolate & a sticker after they donated their sporting balls or gold coin donation. It was an amazing effort as the school kids donated 393 balls in total as well as raising $376 for the foundation. An unbelievable effort! The event was extremely well co-ordinated by all staff. Well done to all the kids, parents & staff from OLA and we thank you all for your extremely generous donations which will make a huge impact when we deliver these to the remote schools west of Alice Springs next term.
